Hi Troy,

We just pushed an update to the repo that was a warning/example cleanup based partly on your input. It also pushed out the examples Makefile so you can do "make examples" from the top level (or make cleanexamples or make runexamples).

So it would be nice to see what this does on Ubuntu 11.

make; make rcc; make examples; make runexamples

And if you have OpenCL (e.g. NVidia SDK):

make ocl; make runexamples

(assuming you have source the env scripts).

Cheers,

Jim

UNCLASSIFIED

Hi Jim,

Requested text file attached.

Note that I'm using a version downloaded on about the 30th Nov.
I'll be able to pull updates soon.

The warnings are the standard -Wall warnings under Ubuntu.

Cheers,
Troy

Hi Troy,

Thanks for the Ubuntu report.

Some of the problems with the examples may have been introduced by the
recent xml-app checkin.
They will all be checked today.
Interesting that the newer glibc finds new memory errors (in static
destructors).
Could you send the warnings in a text file attachment?
They were all text-wrapped and are a pain to process that way.
Were they the result of standard -Wall warnings under Ubuntu, or did you
explicitly add those warnings?
Some of them are essentially coding style.

Jim
