[opendx-dev] Any objections to byte def.

For the DX_CHECK_TYPE(byte, char) would there be any objections to 
changing this to DX_CHECK_TYPE(byte, signed char)?

For systems that already use signed, this wouldn't make any 
difference and for systems that use char as unsigned char it would 
correct the error.
