Added registry fixes (now that I have further understanding of it.)
Broke dx.c up a bit to organize and be more careful with globals, added utils.c
and .h files.
Fixed problem with trying to compile on Unix.
Use GetShortPathname only on Win 9x systems and to set DXROOT.
XrmParseCommandLine in dxui, dxexec, etc does not understand args with
spaces therefore problems when passed a DXROOT with spaces.
Removed unused globals, cleaned up a few global mistakes.
