For CVS version of libtool, go to
<http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool/>. There it will give you the
instructions for checking out a the latest libtool.
As for running configure for OpenMotif, I did the following:
./configure --disable-shared

Hi david, I'm still trying to build OpenMotif under Jaguar and can't
figure out how to tell configure to do a static build
(--enable-static doesn't seem to do the trick for me).
Also don't know were in the Darwin CVS tree to find
the latest version of libtool. Sorry for the stupid questions,
I just don't know my way around these systems.
