I do not think we should avoid this. In the Dutch care information models / 
detailed clinical models, content areas as indication for doing, proper 
instructions in use (to avoid the confounders as much as possible), and 
interpretations of values against a specific context of use are considered 
important parts 
beside the variable, datatype, coding, cardinality, algorithm and so on of the 
technical description. These are to me additional functional requirements for 
the archetype editor (s).
