MEDINFO 2013 - Decision on Submission ID MEDINFO-988

Dear {title} Rong Chen,

Thank you for submitting your contribution entitled Expressing and Sharing
Clinical Decision Support Rules Using openEHR Archetypes - A Tutorial on the
Guide Definition Language (GDL) (Id=988) to MEDINFO 2013, the 14th World
Congress on Medical and Health Informatics to be held from August 20-23 2013 at
the Bella Center, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Medinfo 2013 received a very large number of submissions, with more than 500
papers and more than 200 posters. All submitted papers were reviewed by a
minimum of two reviewers and members of the Scientific Program Committee (SPC).
All submitted posters, workshops, panels, scientific demonstrations, tutorials,
and symposia were reviewed by members of the SPC. Given the constraints of the
limited meeting length and space, and the high quality of the submissions, the
SPC was forced to make some difficult decisions this year.

We are delighted to inform you that your submission has been accepted:

MEDINFO 2013 Decision: Accepted as tutorial

Conditions of acceptance:

1) Submission information: Primary authors are responsible for supplying the
authoritative tutorial title, full and accurate name, credentials, and
affiliation data for all co-authors. Please check the instructions for authors
in the appropriate submission category at the Congress Website:
www.medinfo2013.dk

2) Content revision: You may be requested to revise the content of your
proposed tutorial; if so, one of the the Scientific Program Co-Chairs would
contact you soon.

3) Tutorial description: Please submit a concise tutorial description of no
more than 350 words in the "Comments to SPC about changes" field on the
Re-submission page on the MEDINFO 2013 Online Registry by Monday, April 15,
2013. This description will be used for the conference program.

4) Registration: The presenting authors of accepted contributions are required
to register for MEDINFO by Monday, April 15, 2013 (Early Bird deadline). If the
presenting author of an accepted contribution does not register by the
deadline, the contribution will not be included in the conference program.
Registration information is available at:
http://www.medinfo2013.dk/registration

The Local Organizing Committee will provide one free registration for each
tutorial session if at least 14 participants have registered for the tutorial
by June 1st 2013.

Please note that a tutorial may be cancelled if enrollment does not meet a
minimum threshold.

Tutorials have each been allocated a total time of 180 minutes (for half-day,
single session tutorials) or 360 minutes (for full-day, two-session tutorials).
Tutorials will be conducted either on Monday, 19 August, 2013 or Tuesday, 20
August 2013 just before the main congress. The day and time of your session
will be available on the MEDINFO Congress website - www.medinfo2013.dk at a
later date.

For any further general information please send an email to:

spc at medinfo2013.dk for questions about the program or submission process
medinfo2013 at congrex.com for general questions about the conference

Congratulations on your success and we look forward to greeting you in
Copenhagen.

Warm Regards

Dominik Aronsky & Tze Yun Leong, SPC Co-chairs

Reviewers' Comments
Need a broader scope with clear educational objectives. Co-ordination of
content with other workshops and tutorials related to the OpenEHR platform is
required.
