This is a question we have wrestled with in defining the AOM String constrainer type C_STRING <http://www.openehr.org/releases/AM/latest/docs/AOM2/AOM2.html#_overview_3>. Bert has brought it up with some useful analysis in this issue. I would be interested in other opinions on this question so that we can decide the best form for the C_STRING constraint.
