Hi All,
A while ago I was going to get the itests running via m2 but got
side tracked with that and so I never finished but perhaps its time
to really make that work.
Before I get started on it though I wanted to ask a couple of quick
questions. Is everyone now using the m2 build or is m1 still the
'preferred' build mechanism? If its m2 then I think its time to get
itests moved over as well. If everyone is still on m1 then its
probably not time to make the move to m2 yet.
Now that Geronimo has a working m2 build, I am using both, As soon
as the Geronimo conversion is complete (i.e., m1 is not longer
supported), I'll stop using the openejb m1 build.
Assuming that we are going to move to m2 its a good idea (at least
IMO) to modify the directory layout to fit with m2's expectation.
That is not really possible for svn via patches. Is there a
committer that would be willing to make the moves for me and then i
can hash out the pom's? If anyone has a better idea I'm open to
that as well.
I'd say lave the directories until, we are firmly on m2 and then we
can make the bulk change.
If we are staying with m1 then we need to at least get the build
updated to use the m2 assemblies of Geronimo as well as getting the
plans updated.
I think everyone wants to abandon m1 asap.
