Hmm... I do understand just a little bit of Polish and Warsaw is a
few hours driving from Minsk where I am trying to settle these days.
Although the next topic in February is JBoss... Not sure if that's
worth the drive :-)

Hi,
For those who aren't in the know, there's a Polish Java User Group in
Warsaw - Warszawa JUG
(http://groups-beta.google.com/group/warszawa-jug). It's a
Polish-speaking community so don't expect any English gems.
I had a pleasure to present "The good and the better of Enterprise
JavaBeans 3.0" at the 3rd group meeting (you can download it as a
OpenOffice presentation from the website). There were around 40 people
(!) (only Java EE 5 topic brought more people). The seemed to be very
pleased with the changes in EJB3 and even after I finished at 7:30 PM
people kept sitting awaiting more. I just skimmed through the topic so
I had not been surprised, but the patience in the crowd silently
awaiting more was unbelievable. I'll definitely go back to the details
on the comming meetings.
I thought I'd mention it as Apache OpenEJB 3 had a place on the list
of the available EJB 3 containers and I think it might bring some more
attention to the project. Expect the unexpected - the flow of people
who're eager to know more about EJB3 is just around the corner ;-)
