Right, that would work if you replicated the repo list into each
child pom or the parent is a final pom published to one of maven's
built in repos.

An archetype would definitely be a great addition.

Same for the 'deploy' command. Do you know how to do that?
Ideally, the <moduleExcludes> configuration in maven-site-plugin
should have helped us exclude the examples module. But seems like
there is a maven bug.
