I'm uncertain regarding the status of this patch: 1) will it be applied? (doesn't sound like it) 2) do you want me to work on it some more? (i'll look for other examples of conditional DEPENDS, i'm not aware of any off the top of my head) 3) should i be looking to push this into a BSP layer?
