Note that File-Echange already one base module (file document) and 2 extension "file_repository" (for ftp, stfp..) and "file_email". And the aim is to extend it with new module like "file_ebic", "file_webdav".... Well every protocole that can exchange file should use the abstract module file_document. We also use it in 6.1 version for connecting Amazon to OpenErp.
So maybe a dedicated project can be a goodd idea, what do you think? 2013/12/10 Raphael Valyi <rva...@gmail.com> > Hello all, > > I don't have a strong opinion about where file_exchange should go, but > still I have one: > I definitely vote for inclusion into OCA umbrella. > However I don't vote for merge into the server-env-tools branch. > > Why? > > 1. same reasoning as before about putting many modules into the same > branch: I consider it a temporary work around due to the lack of decent > module packaging, but it won't scale in the future.
