It sounds like the wrong setup on the Magento side. Requires the precise
instructions from
http://odoo-magento-connector.com/guides/installation_guide.html
Have you installed in the manner below.
This is rather complicated compared to some other Magento Extension installs.
It is also possible that the branch is now available now in GitLab. (here below
it is being called from bazaar)

For the time being, the Magento extension originally built by OpenLabs is still
used by the connector. But the version published on Magento Connect is
outdated.
Download the following Bazaar branch and install it in Magento:
$ bzr branch lp:magentoerpconnect/magento-module-oerp6.x-stable magento-module
In order to install it:
1. Move the Openlabs folder in the magento_root/app/code/community .
2. Move the file app/etc/modules/Openlabs_OpenERPConnector.xml in
magento_root/app/etc/modules .
3. Flush the Magento cache from the admin panel or by removing everything
in magento_root/var/cache
Important
This notice does not apply if you use a version of Magento above 1.7. Please
check if you have installed Magento 1.7 on PHP with a 5.4.x version. Magento
1.7 is not compatible with this version and would prevent the API to behave
normally. In that case, you must retrograde to PHP 5.3.x or apply the patch
provided by Magento (see http://magento.com/resources/system-requirements )

Hi all!
I’m using Magento 1.9.2 and tried to configure the Magento Connector.
When I try to synchronize the metadata I get a ‚invalid api path‘ exception.
When I call the XML RPC service http://myhost/index.php/api/xmlrpc I get error
code 630 (‘Unable to read request’).
Beside the XML RPC service I tried to call the SOAP Service as well. The SOAP
service is working fine.
Any idea how to solve the problem? I guess the problem is Magento?
