Hi,
According to my point of view, I suggest the following restrictions and tests. It is allowed to change from/to every "<->", even if I already have entries: GRP1: Payable <-> Receivable <-> Other And GRP2 : View <-> Consolidation Change from GRP1 to GRP2 (or GRP2 to GRP1) are allowed only if I don't have entries. Everything can go from their type to "Closed", but it's not allowed to go from "Closed" to All other types. Implementing this, we can ensure there will be no wrong workflow or change in the reporting. If someone want to change something even with those rules, he has to un-activate the account, and create a new one ! Hope this helps, Regards, -- An accounting account of type other than view, having entries related to it, is allowed to change to internal type view https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/535109 You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenERP's Accounting Experts, which is a direct subscriber. Status in OpenObject Addons Modules: In Progress Bug description: Go to: Financial Management Configuration Financial Accounting Financial Accounts List of Accounts Find an account which has entries related to it, meaning there are entries which use this account. Let change the internal type this account has, being it other than view, receivable, payable, other, etc. and change it to view, save. I think this behaivour is not right, it should not be allowed to change accounts with entries related to it _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openerp-expert-accounting Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openerp-expert-accounting More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
