Hallo Davide, Indeed, it isn't easy, but we have to define something that will be stable & large enough to answer all the common needs. Analytical posting should always be mandatory at least for P/L accounts. It's not possible to allow no use of controlling.
Normally, all incomes & expenses must be posted on analytical accounts. If it's no so, it means you accept to only have a partial view on you result analysis ! I know no manager accepting this ! Exactly, moreover because SMEs accountants often deal with petty cash management and not with analytic accounting. There's no easy way at the moment to manage very common things like "i bought the train ticket and now how can i register it on OpenERP?"
