On Spain banks usually work with two dates (both dates show up on real bank statements): * The operation date: The day they registered the operation in their system. * The value date: The day the transaction was meant to happen, that will be used to calculate the interests and the currency rates.
Usually the operation date is one or two days later than the value date.
