many thanks for your reply but it does not solve by issue
Of course I can put "/" in the P&L configuration of the account
type but then ALL accounts will not appear in the P&L report
while I would like to have some accounts to appear and some other
not , all those account havin the same account_type
This is why I thought I could do it by filtering on Journals

P&L / BS
Category field in accounting type should be the one to tweak in
principle. This is only for reporting purpose.
Set it to "/" instead of "expenses" and it will not be taken
into account in your P&L
journals are not selectable in P&L and BS: those reports are
supposed to take into account all journal.
We tweak the wizard for some users who need it.
