Just one thing to consider if financial accounting and analytic accounting use different data sets and hence produce different results it is mandatory to explain the difference.
financial result +/- named differences analytic result see for example the module http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~camptocamp/c2c-rd-addons/7.0/files/head:/chricar_account_analytic/ which set up some (important) rules for the usage of analytic accounts in fiscal accounting. (all P&L move lines must have analytic accounts) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenERP Accounting Experts, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1146923 Title: General account should not be required on analytic entries Status in OpenERP Community Backports (Addons): New Status in OpenERP Community Backports (Addons) 6.1 series: New Status in OpenERP Community Backports (Addons) 7.0 series: New Status in OpenERP Addons (modules): Fix Committed Bug description: The manual for analytic accounts states[1] : "Each analytic entry can be linked to a general account, or not, as you wish. Conversely, an entry in a general account can be linked to one, several, or no corresponding analytic accounts." But the field 'general_account_id' is defined as "required=True" in account/account_analytic_line.py I suggest that this requirement should be relaxed to allow greater flexibility in analytic accounting.
