Change the optimistic budget for 2012 to have dates in 2011. Post a purchase or sales invoice to a budgeted general account / analytic account. Go to Accounting --> Reporting --> Generic Reporting --> Budgets --> Budget Lines. Type a practical amount that is in one of the lines. Click Search. There is no filter applied, all the lines are displayed! When you filter by budget, and click Search NO lines are displayed, although I typed an existing budget amount!
