I see a separate in this traed. That discussion tries to determine if lack of cash discount functionality in bank statement is a regression or not.
I enclose four screens to help. two of them are from version 5 when you can see fields for cash discount (screen of bank statement and bank statement line). another two are again bank statement and bank statement line but from version 6 and you can see it is no cash discount fields. Please compare. In both cases (v5 and v6) I used account_invoice_cash_discunt module with its dependencies for relevant version. When you try to pay using Accounting - Customers - Customer Payment it is no cash discount functionality. (see screen) When you try to pay using Bank statement and Import the invoice it is also no cash discount functionality.
