Hi, Ken,
hopefully UB support will appear in a future version of OpenEXR. In the meantime, I've been able to get the current CVS sources to build universal with these steps:
1) modify the configure file to pass "-arch ppc -arch i386" for darwin builds 2) run configure with the --disable-dependency-tracking flag, which will prevent autoconf's dependency tracking from interfering with the multi-architecture build.
Note that this is totally unofficial, but it has worked for me. Hope that helps, Paul On Apr 12, 2006, at 3:17 PM, Ken Baer wrote:
I'm trying to find, or build the OpenEXR static libs for Universal Binary Mac OS X. Has anyone gotten this compiled? I have tried modifying the configure file for gcc4 and -arch ppc -arch i386, but it doesn't seem to compile. Mainly, I just want the .a files, since this is the ONLY thing preventing me from linking my application as a Universal Binary. Thanks. _______________________________________________ Openexr-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/openexr-devel
