i'm trying to avoid having to confirm the save dialog box for openexr
format images... no solution yet...

Photoshop CS2.
I tried Nuke with a CRW: before the sequence path to force it to
use CRW as a filetype but the CR2s are slightly different... It's
a standard camera raw format... I wish Photoshop CS2's new camera
raw batch could export exrs.... ugh.
Camera RAW can't do it by itself, but Photoshop CS2 can do it as a
batch operation.
And there is no such thing as a "standard" camera RAW format --
they change the contents with every camera model (and sometimes
with firmware upgrades).
