Hi,

i'm trying to get an a1200 to boot with a kernel built from the (today's)
git repository and
keep having problems with the MMC.

when i try to boot from a freshly built kernel, or one from wyrm's recent
images, the boot process stops
on: "Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt" (w/ the
machid for a1200 ./boot_usb zImageXYZ 1742)

also, i've set up the boot directory on the first (vfat) partition of the SD
card for gen-blob, but when i
try to load gen-blob via boot_usb all that shows up is: "Cannot find MMC
card" (using machid of 0 for the gen-blob),
am i wrong in thinking that gen-blob can be tested via boot_usb?

i've tried the above with three different SD cards, each setup with vfat on
the first and ext2 on the second partitions, but
always the same thing. with the recent post regarding success w/ BT on
a1200 w/ openezx i'm very excited to
get things working (already have openezx booting on e680, thanks again
openezx!!!) but keep running into the kernel
boot and gen-blob problems on the a1200, could they be related through
invalid mmc/sd recognition?

has anyone else ran into similar MMC issues on the a1200?

any suggestions as to alternative zImage's or patches i could try to debug
the problem are of course most welcome,

cheers,

Mike
