Hello, Yang and me had discussed about making some changes on the wiki.
Even if the homepage give a direct access to most of the content, we lacks a clear home page, IMHO. And it's not a big deal to lost the direct access, we can also use a bookmark, or but the browser start-page on [[A1200's mtd map]], or whatever.. :-). Especially the "dual boot" tutorial pages can lead the reader to do some mistake by using Gen1 commands on Gen2 hardware... As M. Lauer said (not really, ok, but... ), we also should organize and fill a little bit more the "AT command" section... For other changes, and rewriting technicals documents for gen2 hardware (or only differences between gen1 and gen2), I think we need some help, especially because we are not ( me at least) to do some tests, (I never send AT commands except an old Us robotics modem under ms dos 3...). So if you have a possibility, or the time to look at the wiki what should be change and what could be done, please contact us. (sabrod or yang) I write this email also because i would like to know differents opinions and ideas. I had setup a training wiki at http://motoforge.free.fr/ feel free to edit it, no need to login. i reproduced the front page and made another one: => it's here : http://motoforge.free.fr/index.php?title=Phones It''s a kind of phone grid, in wich we could put some direct links related to each phones, (even if it's just a redirect for a whole generation of phone grouped). Ok, it looks like a GSM store, :-) ... but it can be usefull (for cleaning the front page, etc..), i think. With regards, Fred.
