I found a bug in the iSCSI configuration.  When you create a volume, the file /etc/initiators.deny is auto-generated by Openfiler to include “ALL”.  Even at a later time, when you add a host or network and give it permission to mount the volume, this file still stays the same, even though /etc/initiators.allow has your specific host or network entry in it.

The only way I have been able to mount iSCSI volumes is by manually editing this file and commenting out the lines with “ALL” next to them.  It seems like the initiators.deny overrides the initiators.allow file.

Is there any way you could fix this so that I don’t need to worry about an auto-generated file overwriting my working configuration?

Thanks,
