Hi
If I want to configure host level access
configuration for samba to allow one particular share
access only from single host, for example if i want to
allow share access from host "192.168.0.2" then
openfiler add
"host allow= 192.168.0.2/255.255.255.255" line under
smb.conf for that share but in that case, it seems
that samba does not recognize subnet mask
"255.255.255.255", but if i manually edit smb.conf
file and remove "/255.255.255.255" ("host allow=
192.168.0.2") then it works fine. As per my
observation if i want to allow share folder access
from one particular host then in smb.conf i have to
add only IPAddress of it and if i want to allow a
particular network then IPAddress/NetMask
("192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0).
