Hi Matt,
You need to create volume groups manually in 1.1. Please see the
documentation about doing this here:
http://www.openfiler.com/docs/openfiler-guide-1.1/#d0e1614
A better option, however, would be to install Openfiler 2.0, which has
integrated volume management.
