smartclt does not return serial number for iSCSI disks setup with Openfiler 2.0 Beta 1. My problem is that oracle check for the shared storage is failing (oracle is using cvuqdisk, which in turn calls smartctl). Is this a known issue? Any plans to fix this?
My iSCSI disk gets recognised on the client:
