Hi Alan I am parsing a 27MB OPML file with Python's minidom and hope Linux doesn't OOM while I'm typing this email and kill my mail client..

It doesn't create them then :-) You should also get an email message about it for scheduled snapshots.. look for MAILTO="" in the "openfiler" user's cronjob for /opt/openfiler/sbin/snapshotter.php. crontab -u openfiler -e > 1. How do you backup your snapshots? Using any backup utility. I had requested for Bacula to be put into the distribution, but I don't know if it's there. Check for it.
