Is there any update on when this will go final? Mid November is fast approaching so presumably so is 2.2 :). If I'm planning a new install would it make sense just to wait for 2.2?

This is a beta build and will be moved to 2.1 Final in short order once you've had the opportunity to give it a good bash. Note that this build is based on the latest 2.1 Final (x86) tree so I expect there shouldn't be too many bugs lurking that are build-specific. Starting from Openfiler 2.2 (available mid-November), both x86 and x86_64 builds should be released simultaneously. Advantages of x86_64 build ----------------------------------------------- 1) Larger filesystem limits 2) Larger block devices 3) Larger addressable memory Downloads ------------------ Currently download is available from rPath's rBuilder only. The image will hit Sourceforge once we're at 2.1 Final (x86_64). Project site: http://www.rpath.org/rbuilder/project/openfiler/ x86_64 download link: http://www.rpath.org/rbuilder/downloadImage?fileId=9415 Bug reports -------------------- There currently exists a set of open bug reports for 2.1 Final. Please look through the list before reporting any new ones in order to avoid duplication. The current list of open bugs can be found here: https://project.openfiler.com/tracker/report/1 To report a new bug, use the following link: https://project.openfiler.com/tracker/newticket Enjoy.
