The Highpoint driver is not fully open source (it links to a Highpoint
binary lib). And we will only make driver disks and ship with kernel
support for fully open source drivers. Sorry :( You're not going to get
much better performance (if any) over Linux software RAID in any case.
You will of course lose the ability to hot-swap, but that's about it.
