G'day all, I've been trying to get FTP to work with my openfiler installation.
Last night I updated to the latest release (2.2.r1166-1-1) and have still been unsuccessful in getting FTP to work as I expect it should. I have allowed FTP access for various networks to one of my shares but I do not seem to be able to get anyone but "openfiler" to connect to the FTP server. All my other users are in an AD domain and I guess / expect that the proftp daemon will authenticate with that but it does not seem to, I just keep getting the error "USER <x> no such user found from <ip>..." Can anyone shed any light on my issue? I thought it may be a PAM issue but as of yet have not been able to resolve it myself. Am I just expecting the FTP to work differently then it does?
