You also have to allow the network to access the share. Its quite well
documented when I remember correctly.

I only have one share, one group as I speak and I set the share "Common" 
to the "Users" group to have RW access and be the PG.  So that is not 
the case,  Also I tried for grins to have the share public and that 
doesn't work either, same symptoms.
