Thanks for the help so far Bill - looked for the older kernel, but mine only
goes back to 2.6.19.4-0.1

So, throwing this one open to the Openfiler community - can anyone help with
downgrading the kernel to 2.6.17.14-0.4 so that my Openfiler/rPath install
can use the full capabilities of my hardware?

Openfiler version is 2.2.r1210-1-1

Looking at /lib/modules, the following directories are present:
2.6.17.11-1.1.smp.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.17.11-1.1.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.17.14-0.1.smp.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.17.14-0.1.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.17.14-0.2.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.17.14-0.3.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.17.14-0.4.smp.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.17.14-0.4.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.19.4-0.1.smp.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.19.4-0.1.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.19.7-0.1.smp.x86.i686.cmov
2.6.19.7-0.1.x86.i686.cmov

All of the 2.6.17 directories are empty.

Looking at /boot I have the following:
config-2.6.19.4-0.1.smp.x86.i686.cmov
initrd-2.6.19.7-0.1.x86.i686.cmov.img

That's all of the info I can think to give to help with helping me - if
there is anything else, please let me know, and I'll post it
