Hi Rafiu Fakunle,

Found out that I'll need to create a name in "Share" --> "Override SMB share
name"
to allow me to Map a drive to the folder. After map the folder, there are three
files in
the folder (autorun.inf, copy.exe, host.exe). Is this the default file in all
new folder created?

No idea where those came from or what they're for....
What should I enable to allow Win98/Win2K/WinXP/Vista users to see the share folder in the "Network Neighborhood"?

Look at settings under General -> SMB Settings.

Dear all,

I had created Group, virtual volume, users, and share in Openfiler.
I had enabled the network 192.168.1.0 to access the share.
Used Localhost LDAP.
Have you updated the installation to latest release?

You also need to assign a primary group to own a share from within the share configuration section.

R.
When I connect a WinXP PC to the same network, I can't see
the share name. When tried to map to the share, the password
is wrong (it is a correct password).

Anyone know how can I solve this problem? Do I missed to activate
something? FYI, SMB and LDAP services is running.

Best regards, Koh C.Y
