Hi Raifu,

Nice try but it didn't work. This is the error i get now. PHP Fatal Error:
Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exausted (tried to allocate 4097 bytes)
in /opt/openfiler/var/www/includes/pre.incl on line 86.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Pls increase memory_limit further and restart openfiler.

Hi,

Chris Romaguera wrote:
Hi All,

I hope someone can help me here. How many users in AD can Openfiler support? I
work in a University where we have around 30000 accounts in AD. When trying to
create a share from within the Openfiler interface the web page crashes and the
httpd error logs state. PHP Fatal error: Allowed Memory size of 16777216 bytes
exausted (tried to allocate 16 bytes) in
/opt/openfiler/var/www/htdocs/admin/shares_edit.html on line 255.

Append the following to /opt/openfiler/var/www/htdocs/.htaccess

php_value memory_limit 64M

then restart openfiler. (service openfiler restart)

I only stumbled on this because i was demonstrating to a few colleagues how
good Openfiler was until we hit this problem.

Bad luck -- but even Jeve Stobs and Gill Bates have this problem of stuff going wrong during a demo ;)

Lemme know if this works and I'll incorporate into next release.
