okay, now that i see it... yeah, looks pretty useless.
it also doesn't tell newbs how to get to OF... just sets up the rpath stuff
then "now what?" while previous users like me might initially assume that
the OF admin interface port got changed to 8003 for 2.3 until they then
figure out what it is and that 446 is still how to get to OF.
unless there's some compelling reason i'm missing, i say ditch it as well.

We would appreciate any feedback on the installation process and
application functionality.
1) The default firewall rules will prevent access to services and the
GUI. You will need to turn off the firewall:
1.1) service iptables stop
1.2) chkconfig iptables off
2) All bugs/issues should be posted in the issue tracker:
https://project.openfiler.com/tracker/newticket .
In order to file a ticket you must first register for an account:
https://project.openfiler.com/tracker/register
Don't forget to enter a valid email account so that you can track
progress of your ticket.
