Do you mean automagically? Because it shouldn't be more than just scanning the volume group(s) to pick up any changes.

Yep changes are propagated automatically. And I'm also agree with you about the fact that it shouldn't be more than just scanning the volume groups - it seems to work-. But this page (http://tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/sharinglvm1.html), recommends to umount all logical volumes and disable the volume groups first before doing any changes. When using CLVM these steps are not required anymore.
