Thanks for your Help. I had not known about DRDB. It looks like it could be a solution for me. Originally, I was thinking of having two OF nodes and 2 D-Link storage devices (which use Ethernet connections) that would provide HA and load balancing. I could be wrong, but it looks like DRBD cannot provide the load balancing - which I may just live without for now.
The question still remains: will OF recognize the ethernet based D-Link storage device? In the long run this may be an cheaper solution, since it seems to me that I will need to, using DRDB, replicate my hard drive space on the other OF box. Again, thanks for all of your help. --- Original Message --- > Send Openfiler-users mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://lists.openfiler.com/mailman/listinfo/openfiler-users > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more > specific > than "Re: Contents of Openfiler-users digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
