Do you have any iSCSI volumes set up? If you do, you will also have to edit the volume(s) and allow connections
_____ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kerry L. Kriegel Sent: 05 February 2008 05:57 To: [email protected] Subject: [OF-users] Basic questions I have openfiler 2.2 installed and running on 2 Dell 2900 PowerEdge servers. Each server has a RAID card with 5 drives attached for 900 gig of space. These are intended to be the backend storage units for a Windows domain. I have set the SMB properties and the Windows authentication settings. The servers have successfully joined the domain and appear in the "Entire Network". When I click on List of Groups, and List of Users, all of my accounts are visible. However, when I click on a group within the List of Groups - no users appear. When I select the Account Administration tab I receive a Warning to configure the LDAP settings. 1. Is the fact that there are no users displayed via selecting a Group a webpage coding error, or do I still have something missing? 2. I assume that the Account Administration tab is where I will assign rights to shares, so - do I need to have the LDAP and Windows BOTH configured? Also, I enabled the iSCSI service on both of the servers and expected that they would both show up in the Physical Storage list. The only thing in the list is the local storage. Obviously there is something I am missing. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you, Kerry
