Hi all, We built up a testbed and run several experiment on it. We now want to measure the packet drop ratio, too. However, when we built the testbed, we did not take this measurement into consideration.
As our testbed works fine, we prefer to make little changes on it to get the job done. For hardware part, we use the Pronto 3240 switch, one PC works as controller, and several other PCs send packet between each pair. For software part, we installed OpenFlow v1.0 and NOX. All our PCs just have on Ethernet port. I am wondering if we can change NOX code to draw the packet drop ratio from the switch. Or are there any other methods can let us do the job without having too much changes on the system. I tried to dig it up on OpenFlow wiki, but did not find a trivial way to do that. Any hint is welcomed. Thank you very much. Yours Sincerely
