Hi,
I don't know if this will help or not. The keepalive, trap, wifi subagents were
all compiled on the AP itself (AP hardware is PC engine) and
not transferred from a different machine.

Given that your trap and wifi subagents are running, I can only assume your
SNMP setup is ok.  The most likely cause is a mismatch of OpenFlow setup and
the SNMP setup.  If the version is correct, I am not sure what else is wrong.
Nikhil, can you think of anything else?

Hi KK,

When i run keepalive_subagent, i don't see neither error nor successful
messages.

The subagents (keepalive, trap, wifi) are loaded automatically when the AP
reboots, i don't load them manually.

That should be fine.
What is the error when you started the agent manually?  You should not start
the agent until OpenFlow is loaded, since you are mucking with the loading of
stuff.

Which version of OpenFlow would you be using?  Mind pasting
 you git branch -a?

Hi KK,

when i do git branch -a, i get a asterisk on master branch (*master). which
version is the branch?
The error message about wlan1 network down now is resolved, i was running
ofdatapath & ofprotocol before hostapd which led to that error.

Thank You,Landy

Two things to check.
* Which version of OpenFlow reference switch are you running?
* Is your network up?  Seems like the error is saying your wlan1 is down.

Hi,
I installed Openroads recently, everything seems to work as required but i have
problem with (keepalive_subagent). It runs at the beginning when i reboot the
AP and when a mobile node connects to AP, several SNMP traps/gets messages are
sent received.

After 1 minute or so, the keepalive_subagent terminates by itself. when i do :
ps -eaf|grep subagentit shows only trap_subagent and wifi_subagent running only.

i tried running it manually by executing
/etc/snmp/keepalive_subagent -x /var/agentx/masterStill doesn't work.
Also, i receive this error when keepalive_subagent is off and a mobile node
connects to the AP:

Dec 31
19:03:10|00003|netdev|WARN|error receiving Ethernet packet on Network is down:
wlan1Dec 31 19:03:10|00004|datapath|ERR|error receiving data from wlan1:
Network is down

Any clue where am going wrong?
ThanksLandy
