hi all, I am studying something about logical port. according to spec, there is a metadata "Tunnel ID" associated logical port to realize certain function related to tunnel. I am just wondering what are the motivation of logical port. since actually all the packets are received from physical ports, all the work can be done with configured matching rules. can anyone explain more about the logical port? and how does the logical port work? some examples are really appreciated.
