if you have some project with remote repos which are not so fast (e.g. cvs) ,
you should be able to have them skipped, or provide a way to blacklist them
I know there is -h which enables historycache just for some of the projects
it can eventually be expanded to something like above +
it could support directories underneath projects too
sometimes one doesn't want to have historycache created for all
subdirs/modules(cvs)
also if the repository is detected, then it should be able to generate history
on demand ...
