Hello,

I'm trying to configure my GnuGK to peer with a Cisco GK that sits on the
"outside" of a Polycom 4300 V2IU session border controller. The GnuGK, of
course, sits on the "inside" of the Polycom V2IU.

My problem is that fhe V2IU requires that the destination IP address of LRQs
sent from the GnuGK to the Cisco GK to be the actual IP of the Cisco GK, in
order to properly route the packet once it leaves the V2IU outside interface.
This is a problem because return messages (LRJ/LCF) get proxied by the V2IU, so
they source from the IP address of the V2IU inside interface.

As additional info, the outbound messages from the GnuGK don't get fully
proxied, but the V2IU statically NATs the GnuGK IP to the outside IP of the
V2IU, thus the Cisco GK is configured to peer with the outside IP of the V2IU.
Yes, it's a bit more complicated than I'd like, but I'm unfortunately locked
into this mess.

Essentially, I have to find a way to configure a neighbor in the GnuGK to send
LRQs to the "real" CiscoGK IP, but receive the responses from the V2IU inside
interface IP.

Has anyone already cracked this nut?

Thanks!
