Can GnuGK be configured with multiple alternate gatekeepers, on a per-endpoint
or per "zone" basis?

I'm trying to provide survivability for our endpoints in remote offices, but
still want to use the power in GnuGK for re-writing, etc.

Codian 3241 ISDN gateways have a built-in gatekeeper. Ordinarily, I register
the units at a location with the GK inside the Codian, because it's local to
them,
so is available even if the WAN is down.

The Codian's register prefixes "1" and "011", which here in the U.S. means that
users can simply dial the ISDN destination without any special prefixes or
escape codes - they just dial as if they were dialing a phone.

However, the Codian doesn't have powerful re-writing capability.

Ideally, I would like the units to register with the GnuGK, so that if a user
places a call to an internal end-point but dials it with a "1" in front (which
due
to the prefix registration means that their call goes over ISDN rather than IP)
I can use GnuGK to rewrite the called number and send it via IP.

However, if the WAN connection is down, then the units would register with
their alt GK (their local Codian 3241 ISDN gateway) and still be able to take /
make
calls, because in that case the prefix "1" is valid and the call should go over
ISDN.

Because I have many sites, I really don't want to deploy many many GnuGK's.
