No certification necessary, as all cryptography is handled by GPG, which is
already endorsed by many countries (using the same algorithms as PGP). Same
is valid for RIPEMD-160 which I would expect will replace MD5 in the
foreseeable future.

To make it fully functional, I need a week. To polish the user interface,
another week. But: GNUMed has priority, this little cutie is just a side
effect of playing with user interface objects and crypto tools.

I already use the primitive predecessor it daily in a command line only
version (shell script): Simply digest and then tar the files, bzip2 it,
encrypt it, digest & sign it, email it to a postgres server.
