Hi Andrew,
It's the tap into the pharmacy network that will be the
problem. They're already living in trade secret world. They will not give
the information away without a) being paid and b) being absolutely
positively reassured that the information is kept confidential.
Of course, there is another way. I go to my pharmacy, and I say, "Give
me a print-out of all the prescriptions you have filled for me in the past
five years. Okay, now give it to me in electronic format. Okay, now just
give me access to your network. You won't? Hmmmm. I wonder if there are
any other pharmacies around here?"
