It is quite difficult to construct an HTML-based, heads-down data entry form with built-in intelligence such as skips and validation which runs under Lynx. And what about stand-alone systems? Sure you can run an http daemon and the client on the same machine, but on a low-powered 486 or a 386 that becomes very marginal. Even more so on a hand-held PDA. Tim C
