For Alex who have been asking for Localization support in OIO (Text switching), I am
pleased to introduce "Local Text"-TM - a new feature in OIO-0.9.8. :-) After reviewing
the "Localizer" at Alex's suggestion, I decided to go a step beyond and make "Local
Text". Specifically, I discovered that the Localizer will be re-implemented using a
"global text table" - and decided to go directly to that architecture.

Local Text allows for "thru-the-browser" editing of all text output from the OIO
Server including those from the plug-and-play forms! Just point and click to select
text to translate/edit. The resulting text are store according the their "language"
label for on-the-fly switching between language sets. Right now, the text table only
contains English - but we will be able to easily merge other language into the text
table when the translations are completed.

You can read more about Local Text at:
http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=5695&group_id=9295

Other notable progress include N x N Contingency tables, Chi-square test, and stored,
multi-level drill-down queries for data analysis.
